This 24x36 charcoal drawing captures the surreal feeling of looking up at a towering cityscape. Hand-drawn using charcoal sticks, pencils, and 6B–8B artist pencils, the piece plays with dramatic perspective and contrast to create a photo-realistic effect. Clean edges were achieved with white artist’s tape, and a final layer of spray fixative preserved the depth and texture of the charcoal work.
